Grit Foundation Cooks for Clay Sheriff's NET Team

Orange Park, FL - Tuesday, the Grit Foundation's "Nitty Gritty Cookin' Team" cooked and served dinner for 85 of the Clay Sheriff's neighborhood engagement team aka NET. The Clay Sheriff's NET Team is an enhanced strategy to reduce crime and engage the community. Residents can join the Sheriff’s Neighborhood Engagement Team (Sheriff’s NET).

'We are always excited when we get the call to cook for an event for the department. Sharing a meal with our deputies and community members is the best way to live up to our mission and it's even better when we find a new favorite recipe that the community loves," said co-founder Kat Cammack.

The Nitty Gritty Cookin' Team dished up a menu of chicken cacciatore, baked ziti, salad, green beans, and cookies.
