As we approach a significant milestone in our history, Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) with the assistance of the GRIT Foundation is proud to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. For five decades, ACFR has dedicated itself to providing exemplary emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens and visitors of Alachua County. This remarkable anniversary will be held on October 26th, 2024 at 6pm at The Alachua County Sports Complex and is not only a time to honor our past achievements but also to look forward to the future of our department. To mark this occasion, we are planning a series of events and initiatives aimed at celebrating our history, engaging the community, and fostering continued growth and strength within ACFR.
