The Grit Foundation provides Complimentary Gala tickets to First Responders

Gainesville, FL - The Grit Foundation announced today that complimentary tickets for the upcoming 2019 Grit Gala for local first responders would become available Thursday, January 10th at 10:00am. The complimentary tickets include a prime rib dinner, drink tickets, silent auction, entertainment, and a program honoring first responders and their families.

Board President Matthew Harrison released the following statement: “Thanks to the generous support of our corporate sponsors, we have been able to offer 250 complimentary tickets to first responders and their spouse for this exciting event. Being able to do this was important because we wanted as many first responders to attend without it being financially challenging. I want to thank our sponsors for their generous donations and willingness to support our cause.

“When we were building the Foundation, we heard from several community members that an event where we could all come together to honor those protect and serve everyday was important. The Grit Gala is a chance community members to show their appreciation and support for these incredible men and women while raising money to help their departments.”
